Good morning everyone. Happy Saturday to you. Here are your non-music events:

Brazos Valley Farmers’ Market will from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at 500 N Main St, Bryan, Texas 77803. There will be music by Grifters & Shills, food by Chilly Willy’s Hawaiian Ice,LLC, and many more vendors.

The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley will be hosting a book sale from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Please bring empty bags and fill them with books! Each bag will cost $10.

Larry J Ringer Public Library will begin part 1 of a 4 part lecture series in partnership with the Brazos Valley World War I Centennial Committee. Today event lecture is WWI Lecture Series: Cartography of the Great War and will begin at 10:00 am. will be at The SEAD Gallery and Bookshop from 3:00 – 5:00 pm as part of the biweekly Book Club. The club is open to anyone interested in self-education, self-awareness, and leadership.

Urgent Animals of Hearne Robertson County Texas will be at America’s Country Store: Close Quarters Feed & Pet Supply from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm for the weekly adoption event. Please consider adopting or fostering!

Remnant Student Ministries will be hosting a CORE theater night. This will involve audience participant improv games and “Trouble in Paradise,” an original comedy. The event runs from 6:00 -8:00 pm.

Yoga Pod College Station will have a donation based class at 10:00 am with proceeds going towards the Red Cross and #hurricaneharvey victims. Yoga Pod Waco will have a class at 11:00 am for the same purpose at the College Station location. Yoga Pod will also match donations up to $500.

Texas A&M Volleyball will face off against Penn State at 4:30 pm in Reed Arena. Tickets can be found at

4B Ranch Beer Garden is hosting September Charity Beer Garden from 4:00 – 10:00 pm. Please refer to the event link for full details.

It is Salsa Night at the Village Cafe and Art979 Gallery. Dancing starts at 10:00 pm and there is a $5 cover.

TAMU Student One Health Association will at The Corner Bar and Rooftop Grill from 7:00 -10:00 pm. Don’t miss out on this unique chance to make connections and friends from outside your college! Friendly/vaccinated dogs are welcome. This event is open to all Texas A&M undergraduate, graduate and professional students to provide students with knowledge and understanding of One Health.
