Well good morning BCS!! It’s been quite a surreal week since the onslaught of #hurricaneharvey. We sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are safe. It’s First Friday and here are your non-music events:
FIT4MOM Bryan•College Station – Stroller Strides & Body Back is hosting Footprint Football Craft at Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater starting at 10:45 am. Please refer to the event link for more details.
St. Mary’s Catholic Center will be hosting Fallapalooza from 8:00 – 11:00 pm. They will have snowcones, games, and a showing of “Moana”.
Llama Llayouts is hosting a blood drive from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm in the parking lot of Outback Steakhouse/Target in College Station.
Historic Downtown Bryan, Texas will be celebrating the completion of the West 31st Street Mural from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Head over to meet the artists, take a picture with the murals and enjoy the community of Downtown Bryan. There will be door prizes, free goodies, and snow cones from Sno Monkey while they last.
Brazos Salsa Nights, College Station, Texas will be hosting a salsa social from 10:00 pm – 2:00 am. Cost is $5/person at the door. This event is also BYOB barring coolers or glass.
Head over to SEAD Gallery and Bookshop for a pop-up show featuring Edgar Sanchez-Sinencio’s exhibit “Mexico: Inspiration and Pride”. Doors will be open at 6:00 pm and his photographs will be in the foyer with both English and Spanish descriptions.
