Helping out Port Arthur

BCS Community we need your help. We now have a truck and trailer ready to go to Port Aransas and we are in need of supplies. Supplies can be dropped off at AudioVideo at 909 University Dr. East starting now until the trailer is full. We would like for the trailer to be able to leave early Saturday morning. Please, please help us accomplish this goal but donating and/or sharing this post to get the word out.

Supplies needed include:

toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, baby wipes, facial wipes, diapers, formula, blankets, baby clothes, gently used clothing, cleaning supplies, bleach, clorox wipes, non perishable food items, feminine products, paper products, batteries, and bottled water.

Urgent – Port Arthur need help

BCS community—We just received this message from one of our followers:
Port Aransas is in bad shape- they have no electricity no supplies and little equipment because most of it has been damaged. They need help.

I have contact information for several business owners on the island if you know of anyone who would like to donate or volunteer to take supplies to them.

Can we pool our information and resources to send supplies to Port Aransas? Please share this post to get the word out.

Wednesday, August 30

Good morning BCS! The sun is shining with a cool breeze–it is a gorgeous morning. Both Texas A&M and Blinn are having their first day of classes. Glad to see our community getting back to business as usual. Traffic will be a bit crazy but we got this!
Our daily list will resume tomorrow. We thank you for all you do to make BCS great!
There are still Hurricane Harvey relief efforts going on, we’ll bring all the updates as needed.

Sorry we haven’t been posting here.  We’ve been dealing with Hurticane Harvey and posted on our Facebook page.  With all the devastation that is happening around us, we thought it would be best to not post the daily list. Instead we are keeping our neighbors in our hearts and prayers. We will post on rain and flood information as we find it.
